China news agency, Beijing, May 10 (Reporter Liu Yuying) The number of Chinese robotics companies has exploded. According to the statistics of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, there are more than 800 robot companies in China, but the scale of enterprises is generally small. More than 90% of the enterprises have an annual output value of 100 million yuan.

At the beginning of 2016, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology conducted a survey on the situation of the national robot industry. There are more than 800 companies involved in robot production and integrated applications, of which more than 200 are robotic body manufacturers.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology found that most of the companies are mainly assembled and processed, and the products are mainly concentrated in three-axis and four-axis middle and low-end robots. The scale of enterprises is also generally small. More than 90% of the enterprises have an annual output value of less than 100 million yuan, and the scale of leading enterprises is not large. Compared with the operating income of international robotic leading companies, the gap is large, and it is difficult to support the future development of the industry. aims.

Li Dong, deputy director of the Equipment Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and director of the Major Equipment Office, said in an interview that there is no excess in the Chinese robot industry, but the hidden worry is that a large number of enterprises are at the low end of the industrial chain, and the industrial concentration is very low. Small scale. The supply capacity of high-end brand robots in Chinese local enterprises is seriously insufficient, and foreign brands of high-end robots in the local market account for 85%. In terms of core technology, the three components of the robot reducer, servo motor and control system account for 70% of the robot's body value, and China still relies on imports.

In April of this year, the "Robot Industry Development Plan (2016-2020)" was released, and proposed the specific objectives for the next five years: the continuous growth of the industrial scale, the significant improvement of the technical level, the major breakthroughs in key components, and the remarkable results achieved by integrated applications. By 2020, China will cultivate more than three leading internationally competitive enterprises and build more than five supporting industrial clusters.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in the next five years, one of the goals of the development of China's robot industry is to improve industrialization capabilities, increase market share, and achieve breakthroughs in high-end products. Therefore, cultivating leading enterprises with international competitiveness, driving small and medium-sized enterprises to develop in the direction of “specialization, precision, speciality and newness”, forming a cluster effect and enhancing the synergy of industrial competition are the goals and directions for the development of China's robot industry in the next five years.
